I am an avid reader, writer, and aspiring author with a passion for storytelling that explores the deeper, often darker, complexities of the human experience.

Growing up in Minnesota, I was an explorer, often seeking refuge in my own imaginary worlds. This expanded when I was introduced to the library and its many written worlds. I sought not to get lost in one, but many across multiple genres. This hunger for exploration defined me as a young man and is a key factor in my writing today.

After September 11th, along with many of my brothers and sisters, I signed up with the United States military with a deep sense of patriotism and a desire to end tyranny around the globe. I served many missions in the Army National Guard across the nation, as well as in Scotland and Iraq, earning the Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal, among others. Out of this grew a unique understanding of the extreme love and turmoil of the human spirit.

Shaped by these and many other life experiences, I seek out and frequently experiment with unconventional narrative techniques in short stories and flash fiction on my website, in writing battles, and in upcoming works.
