LXXIV. Are You My Lorraine?

It’s a Tuesday afternoon,
And Lou’s Cafe is hopping.
Kids are gathered after school,
Cutting loose, jukebox popping.

“Yes! Yes! I’m George, George McFly.”
He says, “I’m your density.”
Stares. “I mean… your destiny.”
Lorraine’s eyes show chemistry.

Star-crossed lovers united,
Cosmos can’t keep them apart,
Love, like life, will find a way,
It’s something it can’t bogart.

But where is my density?
These feelings I can’t feign,
The emptiness, palpable,
I wonder where’s my Lorraine?
