XLV. Pumpkin Spice, Oh So Nice!

It’s that time of year again
Fall is right around the bend
Creeping cold sinks bone-deep
Thick clothes come from hiding

Wool socks find their way onto feet
Sweaters fight away cold’s creep
As families confide in
each other’s blissful zen.

When shops start providing
Pumpkin spice flavored tidings,
And sugar-plums dancing when
Children lie down in bed to sleep.
